Already division 3 has played some games so lets hope division 1 & 2 soon join suit. The league is until 28/02/15 but get them in early.
The squash leagues finish on the 25th Jan so 12 days remaining to get those games played.
This Friday is curry night and all tickets are sold. Please do not turn up on the night as we have a full house.
One of our esteemed squash players – Peter Howarth – is in Concert at the Dugdale Centre on the 28th February. A good squash contingent was there last time and we managed to keep Micky Skinner off stage! If you have never seen Peter in concert before it is a great night out especially if you like the Hollies. Peter was also star of the Roy Orbison show in the West End. Look up the details on www.dugdalecentre.co.uk.
I am not sure if many of you take time to look at the large flower bed outside the front of the clubhouse but it is looking quite amazing. Our own John Lee has taken this project on and has done a great job. Before it was a wilderness and today it is a well tended garden. Please make sure that if you park in front of the ‘garden’ you leave plenty of room. Should your bonnet or boot ruin any plants then the wrath of John will be upon you – be warned!!
Finally, Adrian will be playing this Friday against the world number 7 Tarek Momen in the Tournament of Champions in New York. He is playing at 11.45 pm UK time so if you are a subscriber to squash TV then it is likely that he will be on. The event is held on a glass court in Grand Central Station and there should be some good matches.
