Hazelwood Squash & Racketball

With three courts, one being glass backed and air-conditioned, this facility can be used throughout the year.

Hazelwood has three teams in the Middlesex Leagues, our first team is often hosting top games, with professionals playing in the top positions for most clubs.

We have our own internal leagues which run for around 4 weeks at a time with movement up and down depending on your success.

Club nights are held weekly for both squash and racketball and everybody is welcome to attend. Squash club night is held on Sunday over all 3 of our courts from 6.15. For a small fee of £3.50 you can get to play several games with differing standards of players.

Racketball Club Night is held on Fridays from 5.30pm till 7.00pm. Club nights are of course social events where afterwards you can have a drink in the bar.

Squash coaching is available should you wish to improve your game, and if you have children, then introduce them to squash at ‘Junior Squash Afternoon’ which is held on Saturdays 1pm-3pm throughout the year.

Details of our squash coaches can be found on our contacts page.

Racketball is an up and coming section of the club and is being played by all ages, although the 50+ age group often start when squash becomes a bit too demanding on the joints. It is played to very similar rules as squash but the ball is bigger and bouncier, giving longer rallies and an excellent aerobic workout.

If you feel this is the game, for you then it is best to come along to Racketball Club Night or ask the coach to get you started.
